Easter at Forward City

Celebrate the BEST NEWS EVER with us on Sunday, April 21. Jesus Christ has brought hope to all!

This is a broken world. We don’t have to look far to see the severe sadness caused by injustice, disappointment, and regular human mistakes. There are many things we can’t control, and anxiety runs high. But guess what? Jesus Christ came, paid for our mistakes with His own life, and rose from the dead to give us newness and hope. Because of the cross, fullness of life can be ours, and we are blessed to rejoice in this news EVERY DAY, including Easter!

Forward City Church will not gather for Good Friday, but we will party with God-worthy enthusiasm on Easter Sunday. Join us, and invite your friends!

This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it: “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” — and I am the worst of them all. But God had mercy on me so that Christ could use me as a prime example of His great patience with even the worst of sinners. Then others will realize that they, too, can believe in Him and receive eternal life.

1 Timothy 1:15-16

Important Info For Parents or Guardians of Kids Gr.6 & Under

This Sunday (Easter Sunday) we are going to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ TOGETHER as a family. This means including our City Kids as much as possible.

After checking in your child(ren), all kids (ages 4-Gr.6) will go to their regular City Kids space before coming into Cinema 2 to join us for the gathering. They will begin our time together with a musical tribute to what God has done, and then join their parents/guardians for the rest of the gathering.

After checking in your child(ren), parents will not drop off their kids at the Nursery or Speedsters rooms. Instead, the first 3 rows of Cinema 2 will be reserved for families with children under 3. We would like our youngest ones to join us, with you, for the beginning of the gathering. After the music, we will have a time for parents to drop kids off at the Nursery and Speedsters rooms. We know that this may seem like a hassle, but we will have helpers around to assist. Easter is so special, and we want to be able to celebrate all together as a family, even for a short time! This will be the first time everyone is together in Cinema 2.

Special Music from the City Kids

Forward City loves its youngest family members. About one third of the people that gather with us are children in Gr.6 and younger.

This Sunday, our City Kids (ages 4-Gr.6) will begin our gathering with praise for our great God.

KIDS & PARENTS, don’t forget to practice “It is Finished” for Sunday. Link below:

All the believers were united in heart and mind. And they felt that what they owned was not their own, so they shared everything they had. The apostles testified powerfully to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and God’s great blessing was upon them all.

Acts 4:32-33

At Forward City, we encourage gathering in smaller groups (we call them “Life Groups”) so that it is easier for people to be known and cared for.

Come DISCOVER Christ, DEVELOP your faith and DEPLOY into our community with the gospel!

For more information about Life Groups, email info@forwardcity.ca, with “Life Group” in the subject line.
