Why Do We Want One?
The church isn’t a building—it’s the people of God. At Forward City, we enjoy meeting in homes and any location we can gather as a church family. The Cultural Centre offered us that space to gather, for the time being the office of Handy Bros. will be our main location to meet for worship. We don’t need a building to be the church. We do need a space where the church can gather, grow, and go out into the world to share the love that Jesus has taught us. This new building would not be for just us—it’s for the 40,000 people in Chatham who don’t know the love of Christ.
